I decided it was a nice, sunny day so I brought my kenwood TS-520SE outside and decided to run it off a car battery and a 750 Watt power inverter. I made 10 contacts in 45 minutes on 7.090 Mhz CW using the taktenna running about 35 watts. As the pictures will show it is only hastily mounted on one of the 2 by 4's to the firewood rack. it was about 6 feet off the ground. good SWR about 1.7:1 across the whole band. It only took me 5 minutes to make this setup in my back yard. Once again sir, great job on this antenna.
